Adam Schnal is the Managing Attorney and main Corporate Counsel of AskCounsel. Prior to AskCounsel, Adam spent eight years as Senior Corporate Counsel and Legal Director with Citrix Systems, negotiating and drafting cloud service, on-premises software, and consulting agreements for Citrix Systems, ShareFile LLC, ByteMobile, and Skytide. Prior to Citrix, he spent eight years in a hybrid business and contracts role with Symantec Corporation negotiating and drafting specialized services relationships and technology certification programs, and interviewing executive management during acquisitions. At the beginning of his career, Adam was a senior technology sales person with SBC Communications (now AT&T) selling data solutions to large technology leaders in Silicon Valley, and also managed licensing and day-to-day legal operations for technology startups.  

Adam is a member of the State Bar of California and a Certified Information Privacy Professional* (CIPP/US) with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
